Whenever we pray, we pray toward the outside, we say God is here and we are apart. We should stop really separating the Divine and us. Try your best always to pray. It doesn’t matter which kind. If you talk with God, you talk with your True Self inside you. Do it from the heart.
We do our prayers in quantity by burning lots of candles and lots of lights and saying to God, “Here, this is my prayer to You, God!” But what God really wants is the quality of your prayer. God wants our prayers to come from the heart without any doubt or negativity.
Every prayer, every thought, every action, vibrates on a certain level. Raise the frequency of vibration; raise it in your consciousness. You are an instrument of the Divine. Let us show that we are this instrument, not just by saying it but also by our actions and how we welcome everything.
Rainy Night Prayer to Mahavatar Babaji
Dearly Beloved Master, praying to you
On this rainy night in August 2011
Brings bhakti tears of gratitude
For all that You are, and all
That You ever lovingly give.
Oh, such sweet memories from
Down through the centuries
Come to mind of Your Loving Grace and
Your commitment to the human souls
To stay with us until the time of freedom
For everyone . . .every soul, every
Woman, man and child on Planet Earth.
The wind is blowing and the rain is pouring
On this dark, mystical night in time,
When I am at the ashram, Shree Peetha Nilaya,
Of my beloved Satguru, Sri Swami Vishwananda.
And He is away … elsewhere in the world … somewhere.
I think of Him, and I think of You,
As my knees bow to pray in the quite of the night,
So long and lonely while hearing …
Seeing … the howling wind
And the cold, down-pouring rain.
Then as my soul vibration blends with You in prayer,
I find solace in Your Love and comforting Heart.
Then I know, once again, what eternally is true:
Our hearts beat as one always,
Even as all hearts that choose to be in synch,
Beat in tune with Your Heart.
And I know this when I pray, meditate and write,
As You have instructed me so to do.
I feel light as a feather, and joy floods
My soul as my heart recognizes Your
Heartbeat and we are resonating
In Divine Attunement … in harmony, like
Your Disciple Paramahansa Yogananda taught:
“Aim always to please God and Guru!”
I pray to You in love and the deepest gratitude,
My Master, my Paramguru,
My Beloved Mahavatar Babaji.

If everything is just vibrates on different levels as Yourself and Sri Vishwananda explain to us - can such understanding explain better the need of conscious effort in maintaining the mind on "high vibes" by keeping a check on one's thoughts & emotions while diverting the mind towards the prayer and the GuruRoopa? It takes an effort to keep this discipline and be in vibrational connection with Your Cosmic Mind Babaji!But in fact, does it require any effort to keep constantly thinking of someone when we are really in love - does it not "turn into a mantra" or a prayer? JGD Babaji!

Dear Mahavatar Babaji,
One may ask - how fast does the Pure Love vibrate? For sure the answer would be - the fastest! But still Gurudev Vishwananda is hinting at the existance of something even beyond the Love itself which our "low-frequency" mind can't even think of? The instant thought comes - is That Reality Beyond The Love Itself also of vibrational nature?
Babaji, may I take a liberty of complementing Yourself- Beloved Guruji, on the ingenious nature of The Divine Qualities of Yours as caught in these words of the Eternal Wisdom - for All the ages to come, for All the Religins to agree on, for All the desciples to become, please:
"Love is the answer. Within the Love vibration lies the answer to all questions(...)
The answer to every question is to remain in the Love Vibration no matter what is happening around you, and even as you solve the questions in life."
