Sri Swami Vishwananda - Guru Dev Namo

The Guru gives Himself fully to his disciple. He gives Himself fully to the devotee. What the disciple and devotee have to do is to be like an empty receptacle and receive everything.

There is a verse that says:

Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu
Guru Devo Maheshvarah

Guru Shakshat Param Brahma
Tasmai Shri Guruave Namaha

The meaning of this Verse is: The Guru is the Creator, the Protector and the Destroyer of ignorance. Being Param Brahma and being the incarnation of God manifested through the Guru, the Guru helps each one until one reaches the Self, until one reaches the inner Guru.

Sri Swami Vishwananda

GURU DEV

Dear Ramayotee,
I will be in Springen sometime during the last two weeks of June and will stay until at least mid-August. Since you come there often, I look forward to seeing you while I am there.
