Swami Vishwananda & Kali's Victory Dance

From Utpalavati With Love:
In Divine Ecstasy, Devotion and transforming Himself into the Consciousness of Divine Mother in the form of Kali, our Beloved Swami Vishwananda danced. Bringing the Divine Mother into form before our 400 mesmerized eyes on the ninth night of Navaratri was something I place on my list: "Top 108 Things In Life My Dharma Had To Witness."

With beautiful, wild hair flying, eyes reflecting other dimensions of eternity, and enchanting, hypnotic music, chants and dance movements, The Divine Mother Kali demonstrated Her killing of the demon Mahashasuru. The demon stood in melon form held at arm's length before the face and body of the fearless Swami Vishwavijayananda. With face painted dark as night on Shiva's Mt. Kalias, the demon became, at least for some of us, menacing in our imaginations. Using a real sword, Swamiji/Kali slashed trees, fruit and finally the Demon Mahashasuru with acting skills of great believability.

A lemon rolled near my toes and as red, angry, fiery Kali eyes glanced my way, I heard her say soundlessly in my head: "Please push the lemon closer." Unenlightened human that I am, I chose not to comply with Her request; after all She held a real cutting sword. The relentless Kali, to my surprise, in one furious and quick thrust brought the sword down in a fast and fearless blow. Alas and alack, the lemon lay broken and conquered like the demon Mahashsuru/Melon lying vanquished on the floor as Swami Vijaya scampered off the stage to a safer place. Fortunately for me, as the sword began to move toward the lemon from Swamiji's shoulder height with relentless pursuit of perfection, my naked, red-painted toes, in God's design of human nature's involuntary response mechanism quickly hid themselves safely under my chair.

For those of you who love Swamiji, should He play Kali again; don't miss it!!!

Love is sometimes like this:
Enya Beautifully Singing: Only Time

Lyrics:
Who can say where the road goes,
where the day flows.
Only time...
And who can say if your love grows,
as your heart chose.
Only time...

Dee dah dah dah
dee dah dah
dee dah dah ooh
Dee dah dah doh dah
dee dah dah dah
dah dah

Who can say why your heart sighs,
as your love flies.
Only time...
And who can say why your heart cries,
when your love lies.
Only time...

Dee dah dah dah
dee dah dah
dee dah dah ooh
Dee dah dah doh dah
dee dah dah dah
dah dah

Who can say when the roads meet,
that love might be in your heart?
And who can say when the day sleeps,
if the night keeps all your heart.
Night keeps all your heart...

Dee dah dah dah
Dee dah dah dah
Dee dah dah dah
Dee dah dah dah

Who can say if your love grows,
as your heart chose?
Only time...
And who can say where the road goes,
where the day flows.
Only time...

Who knows - only time.
Who knows - only time ...
dahhh......
